Detailed scan on 14Dec

Finally today is my detailed scan. Was on 1 day leave and hb working 12hrs nite shift tonight. Woke up around 8 plus. Intend to go novena sq for breakfast but dilly dally until 9 plus, so in the end only go and eat bak chor mee along balestier rd before headed to tmc. My appointment for detailed scan was 10.30am and after that got to see Dr Adelina Wong for my monthly checkup at 11.30am.

We reached tmc at about 10am and went to apply FBI card. The card entitled 10% discount on fetal assessment, saving on total hospital bill upon delivery, parentcraft & etc. See link for more info http://www.thomsonmedical.com.sg/facilities.htm#firstborn. The cards take 2weeks to process and will mail it to us. Luckily we are given a temporary receipt.

Aft apply the card Mummy decided to sign up the Childbirth Education Courses. Total 6 lessons will be starting on Jan'08 every friday 7-9pm. Hopefully daddy can accompany me for all the lessons...cos he will be away to HTA for 9months. After the discount we paid $163.71 for the lessons.

Went for detailed scan at level 4. Waited for almost half an hour before my turn. So worried that we will be late for checkup. Luckily the whole process only took about 30mins. Results turn out well. BB is healthy, active and weight at about 407grams. IT'S A PRINCESS....... Finally can rest our mind. My total weight gain till now is 4.8kgs.

Mummy saw this Diaper holder and decided to order from the BP. Because realised that really got no table to place baby wipes, diaper, powder & etc. So this holder actually can hang on bb cot and it is so convenience neat and easy for mummy to do changing.

Boring Sunday 2 Dec 2007

Daddy went to work very early coz he is on 24 hrs duty today and is going to attend colleague wedding dinner. So mummy got to go and buy brunch and also da bao a pack of rice for daddy lunch. My mum neighbour decide to pass down their baby cot to us. Daddy drove his office car back in the afternoon and arrange to pick up the cot and delivery to our hse. Daddy reach home around 12 plus put down the cot and leave with his packet of rice to work. Mummy also arrange with the supplier to deliver the Bumper Mat today between 2-5pm. What a boring sunday, luckily still got korea VCD to accompany her whole day.

Hello Kitty Items =)

Even though i have not gone for detail scan. But accordingly to Adelina there is a higher chance of expecting a princess so mummy already start to look for pinky stuff. Saw a BP on hello kitty stuffs. So tempted to buy those cute and pinky items. But realise that we still need to spend alot on other things. So end up mummy only bought a dispenser container.

Items for bb

Mummy starts to look around for our bb stuffs before his/her arrival in April 2008. Mummy and daddy go shopping during wkend. But mainly only shop and didn't really start to buy anything yet. Coz daddy feel that it is too early to buy. Anyway we already roughly know what to get for our bb and where to get good lobang.

Lately mummy saw a BP on beansprout pillow from Spore Motherhood and decided to order. Bought a small pillow, bloster & chest pillow. Total spend on beansprout $37.50. At the same time also tempted to order the Korea LG bumper playmat from the BP also. Mummy need to discuss with daddy if we should buy it anot. Price is $152 for size 1900 x 1300 x 11mm.

Finally my bb blog is up

This is my 1st time writing blog for our little bb going to arrive in April 2008.

Mummy found herself pregnant soon after she left her ex company. She will be joining her new company on 16/8/07. Afraid that once she announce her pregnancy, the company might not confirm her after 3mth probation.

Booked my 1st appointment with Dr Adelina Wong on 15/09/07 which is already 8wks preggy. Mummy and Daddy was very excitied on our 1st visit and we can see bb sac and hear the heartbeat. Glad that bb is doing fine =))

Mummy when for NT scan on 20 oct 07, which is her 13wks pregnant. After the scan we went to see Dr Adelina Wong. Same thing i did my urine test, blood pressure and weighing. Everything is normal except my weight has gone up by 600g and is now 50 kgs. Adelina said result was good and there is no risk of DS. She also did a blood test for mummy. Other than folic acid & Obimin (multi vit) doctor also starts to prescribe calcium tablet and advised mummy to drink 2 glasses of milk per day. On the same day we also schedule to do my detail scan on 14 Dec 07.

Had our bfast at hm and headed to TMC for monthly checkup on 16 Nov 07. Mummy is 17wks pregnant and feeling very excitied coz dr said should be able to tell the gender of our bb. My weight has gone up another 2.4kgs, really hope all this weight will go to bb not mummy. We tell Adelina that we would like to know the gender of our bb and she did a scanning. It was quite tough coz bb refuse to open his/her leg. After sometime dr ask mummy to fake cough and shake mummy tummy so that bb will open his/her leg. Finally he/she start to move the leg. Adelina can't see anything between bb leg and predict that 70% should be a princess. Anway so long bb is growing well and healthy both mummy and daddy will be happy and fan xin liao. We look forward to the detail scan in 3wks times.
